America is claimed as the land of the free and home of the brave by Americans. 1. American Flag

2. George Washington Didn’t Live in the White House

3. English Doesn’t Belong to America
The US doesn’t have an official language. English was there long before America was discovered. Many people understand English and are under the impression it’s their official language but that’s totally wrong. British rule didn’t give America the inheritance of English rule. 8. Mall of America is Not American
The mall of America is in Bloomington, Minnesota. Despite its name, it is owned by a company in Edmonton, Canada called Triple Five Group. They also designed the whole place so it is completely owned by Canada. Though, you can say that Canada is in the same continent and a neighboring country of America.
